Linux Instructions
The Linux distribution of MicroView supports both standard 32-bit x86 PC architectures as well as
64-bit x86_64 machines. A separate installer is required for each platform.
Both installations place binaries, by default, in the /opt/GEHC directory.
Currently, there is no graphical installer, so MicroView must be installed from the command line.
MicroView requires root access for installation in the default directory, or adequate permissions to write to
the selected non-default installation directory.
To install the Linux version of MicroView:
- Follow the instructions provided by the installation script.
