MicroView is an open source, freely distributed 3D volume viewer.

MicroView includes numerous image analysis tools and plug-ins. As upgrades are developed they will always be available on this website for download.

Please contact us for further details on the latest version of MicroView.

MicroView can easily be installed on most computers running Windows 98, NT, 2000 or XP. A version for Linux and SGI systems is also available and a version for Mac OS X will soon be released.

Software Distribution:
  • Viewer may be freely distributed for visualization and analysis of data away from the scanner console. 







PIII 450 MHz processor 
RAM (32MB + file size of volume to view) 
ex. if the volume is 96MB in size the computer should have 128MB of RAM) 
16MB video card with texture mapping and OpenGL support. 
MicroView will run without texture mapping support, however it will be noticeably slower 
30MB of hard disk space
